Hey I'm Char, I'm 42 and I live in Memphis,TN. I found my love for hair while I was recovering from my 5th open heart surgery. I've always loved hair extensions and the opportunities it opens up and the freedom it could create for me. After spending months researching and learning that African Americans are the #1 consumers of hair extensions and that there were only a hand full of us offering in the 2 billion day business. So that in itself motivated and sparked in interest in finding quality hair extensions at a affordable price. So instead of doing what everyone else is doing what I should have been doing I went from beauty supply to another touching, feeling and asking questions about the products on the market.
I'm also a published author (Niq Rucker is my pen name) and I have another small business where I sell pickled veggies as well (Niq's Pickled Veggies). My other interests are of course writing, reading, making wigs or playing with new hair, improving my skillset on each and cooking for my family.
